You may remember the photo below from the Vintage Market that I participated in back in March. It was the first market of its kind in my home town. Held in the historic home of my dear friend, Polly and her husband Steve from Counting Your Blessings. There were a dozen of us who were vendors. We are all friends who know each other well enough to hold this type of event in one of our homes.
The market was so well received that we had dozens of people asking us to do it again. We also realized that we were out of space in Polly's home and had other vendors who wanted to join us so, Polly and Steve (and Ann from Nellie's Barn Sale) found a larger venue and last Friday and Saturday, the Autumn Harvest Market was held with Twenty Five Vendors. Here are a few shots from the market:
There was a little rain on Friday morning but that didn't stop people from lining up. The skies cleared and shoppers found plenty of vintage, re-purposed, and hand made treasures to fill their bags and baskets! Kevin Baker provided music and it was an amazing two days.
Family and work commitments kept me from being able to be at the Market other than a couple of hours on Friday morning but, my dear friend Karen was kind enough to sell my things for me. Reminding me, once again, that this group of gals are not only incredibly talented artisans, but wonderful friends as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing many of these same ladies at Nellie's Barn Sale in just a few short weeks!
